We loved this little apartment with it's beautiful view over the city (especially during sunset). The city center was easily walkable. Great to have a dishwasher and a washing machine, fast internet, comfortable bed, efficient host (Thanks, Stéphanie!). We will definitely return.
Very nice apartment, equipped with everything. Location is good as it's close to the center. It's on a main road, but very quiet and you don't hear the road. It's on the 4th floor without elevator though, this is important to notice.

I loved my stay in this flat so much! I go to Aix for work relatively frequently so I've
rented quite a few flats there: this was definitely one my favourites and I will look to book with
Karine again next time.
The location is perfect: loads of amenities, right next to the old town but
not in the middle of it (which can feel cramped and hectic). The flat was therefore really peaceful
(there was a little bit of noise from the downstairs neighbours but nothing serious). The flat was
exactly as described and the photos are 100% faithful (note the bed is 140cms across). The decor is
simple but tasteful; the flat feels spacious and airy, full of light and with a gorgeous view.
The
flat was pristine when I entered, especially the kitchen—which is also really well-equipped, I had such
a nice time cooking in there. I appreciated the little touches, too: some coffee left out for the
morning, and lots of toilet rolls provided so I didn't need to buy any.

I stayed in the apartment for nearly eight weeks while working in Aix. It is very comfortable, very clean, extremely well-equipped (particularly if you want to cook) and in a central, but quiet location. Everything is within walking distance. The self check-in (and out) worked really well. Communication with the hosts was very easy, friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this apartment, especially for a longer stay. Please bear in mind that it is on the fourth floor without an elevator, in case stairs might be an issue for you. I very much enjoyed my stay - thank you.

FAQ
From Marseille Airport or train station Aix TGV, you can use the bus line 40. Buses run every 15 min between Aix TGV train station and Aix bus terminal - and every 30 minutes between Aix bus terminal and Marseille Provence airport. Schedules, pricing and details available here: https://www.lecaraixmarseille.com/line-40. Then either walk through town (about 20 minutes) or take a city bus, number 5, 6 or 25 and get out at the stop called "Miollis".
The city center is mostly dedicated to pedestrians, and parking is easier outside the historical perimeter. You can park on nearby streets such as Boulevard des Poilus or Avenues des Déportés de la Résistance Aixoise. Parking is usually due from Mondays to Fridays, from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00 (please check the meters to confirm pricing). Use the street parking meters or the mobile app Flowbird to pay.
If you're taking French courses during your stay, you'll be just a short walk away from your school:
- the IS Aix-en-Provence school is just a 9-minute walk from the apartment in the direction of the charming parc De La Torse
- the Alliance Française is a 15-minute walk away, via the Cours Mirabeau.
We clean and prepare the apartment between guests, so unless it is not rented right before/after your arrival it is not possible for us to organise early check-in. We can, however, point you in the direction of a secure luggage locker so that you can visit the city hands free.
All payments are made in euros through our partner Stripe. Short-term stays (up to 28 days) are fully paid upon booking. For long term stays (more than 28 days), the first month and security deposit are fully paid upon booking, the remaining days are paid every 30 days after check-in. Reservations are not guaranteed prior to payment.
Use the booking form to indicate your arrival date, departure date and number of guests (2 maximum). We will send you a reservation agreement and payment link by email. You then have 48 hours to make the payment that alone guarantees your booking.
The security deposit protects the apartment against damages, theft or loss of keys. For short-term stays, the security deposit is made by authorisation on your credit card prior to check-in. It will be released in a maximum of 2 days after check-out if no damage has been noted and if the apartment is left clean and in good condition. For long-term stays (more than 28 days), the security deposit is paid upon booking. It will be refunded in a maximum of 2 days after check-out if no damage has been noted and if the apartment is left clean and in good condition.
You can cancel your stay via email or contact form – cancellations cannot be made by phone only, we need a written message to avoid any misunderstanding.
Short-term stays (up to 28 days):
- are fully refundable if the cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to arrival
- less than 30 days before your stay, cancellations are not refundable
For long-term stays (more than 28 days):
- full refund up to 60 days before check-in
- 50% of refund between 60 and 30 days prior to check in
- less than 30 days before your stay, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable
After check-in, cancellations are not refundable.
